Land Records
Overview
The Town Clerk's office maintains records pertaining to property transactions in the Town of Burlington such as deeds, mortgages, liens, maps, condominium documents, easements and certain probate matters.
Land Records recorded from 1962 - present are available online through Record Hub (1979 - Present) and the Online Index Book (1962 - 1978).
The Town shall not be liable for errors contained herein or for any damages in connection with the use of the information contained herein. This information is for reference only. The user is advised to search on all possible spelling variations of proper names, in order to maximize the search results.
Recording Information
Recording fees are $70 for the first page of a document and $5 for each subsequent page. Documents containing MERS are $160 for the first page and $5 for each subsequent page.
When recording a document with conveyance consideration, an additional $2 fee is charged to cover administrative costs for filing the forms with the State of Connecticut Revenue Department.
Our office does not provide blank forms of Warranty Deeds, Quit Claim Deeds, or Conveyance Tax Forms.
The recording fee for a map is $20. The recording fee for a subdivision map of more than three parcels is $30 per page. Copies of land records are available for $1 per page.
There is a $2 fee to certify a copy of a document.
