Overview

On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The Board of Selectman at it's November 12, 2024 regular meeting created the America 250 Committee, consisting of seven members for a term of 24 months for the purpose of coordinating activities for the State of Connecticut’s multi-town celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
